Instructions for Mixing Resin and Hardener (3:1 by Weight):

1. Ensure that you have a clean and well-ventilated workspace.

2. Use a digital scale to accurately measure the required amounts of resin and hardener. The ratio for mixing is 3 parts resin to 1 part hardener by weight.

3. Place a mixing container on the scale and tare it to zero to account for the weight of the container.

4. Slowly pour the resin into the container until it reaches three times the weight of the hardener.

5. Add the hardener into the container, making sure to maintain the 3:1 weight ratio.

6. Carefully mix the resin and hardener together using a stir stick or a mixing tool. Stir thoroughly for about 3-5 minutes, ensuring that there are no streaks or unmixed areas.

7. While mixing, scrape the sides and bottom of the container to incorporate any resin or hardener that may have settled.

8. Avoid mixing too vigorously to minimize the introduction of air bubbles.

9. Once the resin and hardener are well mixed, transfer the mixture into a new clean container if desired to avoid any residue from the sides of the original container.

10. Allow the mixed resin to rest for a few minutes to let any air bubbles rise to the surface.

11. After the resting period, the resin is ready to be used for your epoxy projects.

Always wear appropriate protective gear, such as gloves, safety glasses, and respirator when working with resin and hardener.
